A rainy Tuesday afternoon, the clouds breaking just as the sun began to set. Twilight outside, but warm & bright in the lobby of the Paramount in Rutland as I rushed out. You were sitting in a chair, and loked up and asked: "Is it over?"
"All but the curtaincalls," I replied, putting on my raincoat. "I have to get the car for my mom. But you missed it?" "I'm here to pick up my mom. I was here last time." By the time I got back you were gone. We're fellow members of a very exclusive club: Children of Moms Who Love Opera. I'd look for you in two weeks, at the Magic Flute, but Alas! family in town, and they are not coming all this way for the Mozart. The next is Aida, but not until the end of January.
