Adam, I tend to believe that women who go running after men are desperate & pathetic & I never wanted to become one of them. It's a mans job to pursue the woman, but hearts are foul things. Mine refuses to let go of you. You once held my hand at a coffee shop & spoke about love & my brain shut off entirely, but I loved you then. After that, I drove to you in my time of need & you yelled at me (I call that the darkest day) What gives? I didn't deserve your anger, deal with your issues & know that I'll love you until their are no more days left. I miss your joy, your smile, that ass & most of all, the peace & security I felt when you held me when you lived on south union & I tucked your son & his bear into bed on Monday nights.
