Seven Days Personals - Introducing: Vermonters

My mentors: Kurt Vonnegut, Margaret Atwood, Ram Dass, Dolly Parton, Mary Oliver, Brene Brown. Musicians I've ("recently") seen or will soon see in concert: First Aid Kit, Fleet Foxes, Lucinda Williams, Leonard Cohen, Anais Mitchell, Cat Power. Kitchen adventures of late: turmeric/ginger squash soup with roasted roots and sweet potatoes; Carne asada burritos, chicken spectacular cassarole, Mediterranean pasta.
Some of my favorite things: tiny houses, dogs, big trees, cooking, gardening, audiobooks.
I am a work in progress: climate change, war, bigotry, loneliness and zealots are challenges I rise to... on a good day, with grace and compassion.
Naturalized Vermonter: here, now, more than half my somewhat colorful life.
Unchecked on the bucket list: Iceland, Faroe Islands, Copenhagen & Amsterdam; skydiving; treehouse construction; development of a B Corp (for-profit corporation for the public good); Burning Man.
