You were staring at the grapes in the Hannaford on Shelburne Road. I was wearing a green dress, you were wearing a black hoodie with the vibe of a My Chemical Romance hoodie but it was a different band, and baggy jeans. Your hair was black and kind of long, I couldn't tell how long under the hood. I asked if you were looking for something specific. You said "red grapes." I pointed to what I thought were red grapes, and you said "Those are purple grapes." You were still looking intently through the grapes as I walked away. There were four bags of grapes left, three green, one purple. You are very attractive.

You working behind the counter cashing me out at Champlain Farms in Colchester on Roosevelt. I was having the worst day. Today, around 4:30/5pm, I saw you running on the Burlington bike path near Texaco Beach. Your smile was so mesmerizing that everything else around us seemed to blur—I can only recall your pretty blonde hair and the radiant joy in your expression. Our eyes met for a brief moment, and in that instant, it felt like my world paused. Your smile brightened my entire day.
