I picked up your gloves when they fell off the roof of your Volvo, driving down the hill from Trapps. I was driving a red truck with Montana plates, my friend was in the passenger seat and she chased you down at the stop sign. I thought you were cute and looked friendly. I was frazzled by the glove chase and the traffic and the whole drive home I regretted not asking if you were single and live around here! Are you?!

Posting this in Seven Days since it’s 2026 and Craigslist Missed Connections is no longer a viable option.
I “stole” one of your poles in the Madonna I lift line at Smugglers’ Notch during Presidents’ week. You’re a divorced Dad from Massachusetts with a backpack full of inhalers and PB&J sandwiches you swore weren’t soggy (yet we both knew they were). You have twin boys (whose names start with M and H) and a younger daughter. We talked about twin birthday parties and skiing solo with kids, and then got off the lift without exchanging names or numbers. I’d like to fix that.
