2 Friday nights ago I sat on the bench near the bottom of church st for a while drinking a soda ( the slurpee place was closed when it had said it would be open :/ ) but it was all good when I saw you walking by with your 2 friends and again and again …it’s why I was there I guess! out of context I wasn’t sure it was you … but it was. You tossed me a question in the salad section at TJ's: "what are you going to choose?" To which I confessed (to a mere stranger!) that I was a top shelf salad kind of gal. I went for the baby red butter lettuce & baby arugula you went for little gems. Respect. Then there was the tuna can conversation. And the fly-by when looping back for the questionably placed seltzer stash (currently enjoying said beverage).
I liked your energy and support in making some of life's hardest decisions. Alas, I was tired and feeling generally grotty, otherwise I would have said "want to eat salad together sometime?"

You, attractive blonde in blue outfit and sensible shoes, made a quick visit to the Sharon Welcome Center and smiled as you entered the building. As you departed, you took the straight across the building exit, soon realizing you'd entered a different door. I, one of the State employees in a hat, pointed to the exit towards the parking lot and couldn't help wonder if I should have at least said hello and introduced myself.
