| Pretty lady on motorbike |
|
When: Slightly after 5 PM on Friday, July 3rd Where: The intersection of North Street and Elmwood You: Sitting very pretty on your motorbike at the south end of the Elmwood-North Street intersection between the graveyard and the bar waiting for the light to change. Me: On the northeast corner of the Intervale-North Street intersection pressing the pedestrian crosswalk button and walking back to wait in the shade thinking: “My goodness, that woman on that motorbike looks sweet.” Getting into the shade and looking back across the intersection: “Yep, extremely sweet.” It seemed to me that you were looking at me too, but I was standing near the traffic light and you had sunglasses on so it may have just been my wishful thinking imagining it. You: Once the light changed, riding through the intersection right past me traveling north on Intervale looking better and better to me the closer you got until you passed by me with the “whoosh” which one feels in beauty’s wake. This is the second time now that you’ve knocked me off my axis. I remember seeing you once before, about a month and a half or so ago in front of Jake ONE’s Market, so I know that you also look great off your motorbike with your helmet off. I should have tried to talking to you then … I had passed you and I hesitated a bit and thought about turning around and waiting for you … but you seemed to be in a rush and it would have been awkward to hover around to talk to you. You are a fine looking woman. They ought to pay your parents an annual stipend for creating someone as beautiful as you. If by some celestial miracle you are not involved with anyone, please respond to this ad. I would love to take you out and get to know you. The truth is is that you’d probably be doing both of us a favor by responding because you’d probably end up liking me too. We could make this a memorable summer, me and you.

Dearest Lone Star, What do you call a freshwater crustacean's parasitic, arachnid girlfriend? (Or, if you prefer, what do you call that same parasite after it gets pinched in the North Branch River?) You: Cool earrings, musing about fruit with butts. Me: Trying to be a helpful guy about town with medium success. Find me at the Queer Arts Fest in a cute pink vest!

| Said you looked beautiful |

Felt weird about it, but for some reason I felt compelled to do it. Hopefully that was ok. Would be fun if there was a mutual connection. Very…compelling…looking :).

| Two Turtles Tattoos |
|
City Market south, 06/29 @ 6:30pm. Your hair was wavy and a little wet, with a beach towel wrapped around you. I should have come said something before I got in the checkout line. Two turtle tatts on your left arm, no way you see this.

On Friday 6/26 around 5pm you approached me at the Hannaford in Brattleboro to tell me so sweetly that you found me attractive. I shared that I found you attractive, too... Why didn't I ask more about you? I regret not taking the opportunity to get to know you a bit - your honesty, humility, courage and sweetness warmed my heart and intrigued me. I'd like to see you again.

| Dad & Daughter |
|
Yesterday afternoon I was sitting on a bench by the Winooski River & your daughter approached me, she began taking to me, but due to recent character defamation from a mother in my building who's been bullying me, I haven't been myself lately. Your girl had beautiful blonde hair & a sparkling demeanor. I saw you both again this morning & she approached me once more & blew bubbles for me with her fabulous new butterfly bubble wand & it made my day. Thank her for me.

You: male, leather hat, great smile. Me: female, red and pink floral dress. At the Shelburne contra dance on June 26. We danced a lot and had a good time. I left before the break and wished I had gotten your phone number. Will you be at the dance in Montpelier? See you there?

| Searching for the Elusive Squish. |
|
We ran into you and your birthday kiddo last week while hunting for the elusive squishy toys that kids are going nuts for these days. We struck gold at one spot, and struck out at the next. I shared some other spot you might want to look. Did you have anymore luck? I started wondering if I’d have any luck with you seeing this. Hopefully!
