How it Works
How much does it cost to create a profile ad?
Absolutely nothing. It's free to create a profile and browse ads. The only time you pay is when you want to contact someone. Even then, an Unlimited Pass is still really cheap:
- 1 Day: $7
- 1 Week: $15
- 1 Month: $30
- 3 Months: $60
How can I contact another member?
After you've created your profile ad and find someone you like, you can then decide if you want to purchase an Unlimited Pass or Forever Stamps. Once you've done one of these, you can contact other members.
How do Forever Stamps work?
Forever stamps (2 per message) are automatically deducted from your account when you send a message.
Which deal is better, purchasing Forever Stamps or an Unlimited Pass?
With an Unlimited Pass you can send as many messages as you want while your Unlimited Pass is active. Forever Stamps never expire so you have no time limit. We love them both the same, but the Unlimited Pass seems like a better deal.
Do I have to answer all the questions when creating my profile ad?
No. If you don't find a question interesting or applicable, feel free to skip it. It won't show in your profile that you didn't answer the question.
What is a "flirt"?
A flirt is a quick way to let someone know you're interested without sending a full message. Think of it as a glance across the room, without walking over and talking.
How do email notifications work?
You decide if you wish to receive email notifications. You can elect to receive email notifications whenever you receive a message. And you can elect to receive email notifications of special announcements/events. You will not receive email notifications unless you want them. To enable email notifications for either messages and/or announcements, find "My Settings" in the blue bar at right and click on "Edit Account Settings." On the next page, scroll down to the bottom to set your notifications. Or click here.
Managing Your Account and Profile Ad
How do I update the email address, username or password on my account?
After you're logged in, click on "Edit My Account Info" in the blue bar at right, or click here.
I can't login. I forgot my password!
Go to this page to reset your password. You must know the email address you used to sign up and complete the verification process within 30 minutes.
How do I edit my profile ad?
After you're logged in, find "My Settings" in the blue bar at right and click on "Edit My Profile Ad." Or click here. You will then see your profile ad with edit links to each of your answers. Click on the edit links of the parts of your profile that you want to edit.
If I skipped questions the first time through, can I go back and answer them later?
Yes. To go back and answer questions that you skipped, go to the "Edit My Profile Ad" page (instructions above), scroll down and look for a heading that says "Answer the Questions You Haven't Done Yet." Below that banner are links to the questions that you skipped.
Can I add photos, delete photos and change the order of my photos?
Yes. After you're logged in, find "My Settings" in the blue bar at right and click on "Add/Edit My Photos." Or click here. On that page, you can upload up to five photos. You can also change the presentation order of your photos.
How long will my profile be pending after I make a change?
Anytime you make a change to your profile it will have to be approved by Seven Days staff. This process happens regularly during business hours Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and once every 24-hours on the weekend.
How do I "hide" my profile ad?
To temporarily hide your profile ad so that nobody can see it, find "My Settings" in the blue bar at right and click on "Edit My Profile Ad." At the top of the page, you will see "Profile Status: Live [edit status]. Click on edit status. Or click here.
How do I cancel my account and profile ad?
If you want to cancel your account and profile ad, please understand that once it is canceled, it cannot be reactivated. Any stamps or paid time remaining will also be canceled. If you are now in a relationship and don't want others to respond to your ad, we suggest you "hide" your ad (see above). If you wish to completely cancel your account and ad, click on "Contact" at the very bottom of any page. Or click here.
Tell us that you wish to cancel your account and include your password and your first and last name. We will then cancel your account and notify you when it has been canceled.
