Monday afternoon public skating, I loved watching how graceful you were, practicing and circling, gliding backwards, all the while keeping an eye on your very young companion. You had on a vest of some bright color, maybe magenta, and while lacing up I overheard you talking to a colleague about the Grand Tetons. A wild guess here - biology prof at Castleton? Anyway you made it look easy. And fun!

Green cargo jumpsuit, leather jacket, white docs. Hair black, curly, mohawk. Exiting the venue you overheard me talking. We laughed and kept walking. You bumped into a strange, I exclaimed “ You’re supposed to bump into me” and you did.  Then it ended, lost in the crowd.
