I'm inherently independent and don't require a partner to know that my life is complete as it is and seek the same.
I would say that I'm seeking a partner, And not a ' project. I'm basically an indoor house cat but think that with the right partner we might venture out and do some things that we both enjoy. Long hair and facial hair are, in general, not attractive to me. Just as I would never cut my hair to suit someone else's tastes, I would never expect someone else to change their appearance to suit mine.
