Seven Days Personals - Introducing: Vermonters

I enjoy a healthy lifestyle. I like being active and I am often walking/talking with friends, kayaking, going to the gym and riding my bike around the beautiful backroads of VT. Also, I love dancing! I find gardening to be grounding and am somewhat obsessed with houseplants.
I have two wonderful children who have launched and an amazing circle of friends! Cooking is a creative outlet and I am often searching for the next best recipe. Ethnic food, especially Thai cuisine is a particular interest of mine. I love to travel, make connections with people and learn about different cultures. I plan to do a lot more traveling in the coming years.
I love animals and pets have a special place in my heart. Currently, I live with Nica, my sweet but rascally cat.
I am a teacher of the deaf and my friends tell me that I’m very expressive and often talk with my hands. They also say that I’m thoughtful, a good listener and can tell a good story. I appreciate a sense of humor and a good laugh. Engaged conversation about things that really matter is deeply satisfying to me.
I believe in the power of kindness, that life is a learning journey and that self awareness is essential to personal growth. Although being open and honest is difficult at times, I firmly believe that good communication is the foundation of a successful relationship. Ultimately, I'm looking for a partner and friend who is committed to growth within himself and together in a relationship.
