Seven Days Personals - Introducing: Vermonters

I love writing (sometimes professionally), dancing, making and listening to music, and contributing to meaningful things. I try to do what I can to push back on climate change, but sometimes that feels like a party where hardly anyone showed up. On the other hand, it's still a party!

I like conversations about people's passions and powerful interests. I'd rather have an awkward conversation about something meaningful than a witty conversation about nothing.

While I do love the natural world and hiking, biking, and paddling in it, among other things, I also spend a lot of time happily indoors being social or creative or productive.

Here are some things that might make me not a match, depending on what things you love: I'm not crazy about country music, motorized recreation, or professional sports. I don't generally fly on airplanes because of their environmental impact, which is unfortunately terrible, so I'm not a good date to go to the Caribbean with! I'm powerfully interested in many activities, so adding that to work and other obligations, I'm pretty busy. I don't drink much. Small talk makes me feel antsy and awkward, and while I'm outgoing with new people and don't mind things like public speaking, at heart I'm an introvert.

I do like to cook and bake when I have time. My favorite meal to make is brunch, though I think of it less as breakfast + lunch and more like double breakfast. :) I enjoy learning new things.
