Active by Day, Enthusiast @Night
Still looking for a new friend, or possibly something more, to join in active pursuits by day, and music/movies, great eats, stimulating conversation by night. My go-to explorations at the moment include long XC skis in winter, shorter trail runs in summer, moderate hikes on fair-weather days, and paddling when climate change has us in its hot and sweaty grip. My hope for new adventures (with you?) include concerts, stay-cation as well as not so close to home travel, spur of the moment nights out... and of course being open to whatever fun drives your passion. Part of a bummer of the new normal, and working from home, has me feeling my work-life balance has lately skewed way too much to the work side. Will you please step forward to tip the scale to the fun adventures side?
People always tell me I'm... Patient to a fault.
What is the one thing that you love that everybody else hates? At least 2 things actually: Proofreading & jazz covers of 80's pop hits.
I would describe my fashion sense as... Middle-aged dad, from head (baseball cap) to toe (New Balance trainers).
I consider myself an open-minded person, but my deal breakers are people who are not inclusive and MAGA types
On a Saturday night you will most likely find me at home, reading by the fire or watching the game
I couldn't live without NY style bagels
The first section I turn to in Seven Days is fun stuff
My ideal partner would be in the 42 to 57 age range.
