Let's have fun first.
Second act? Maybe third, eighth? I guess this scene change feels especially significant - I'm mom to three terrific, very independent teenage boys who have kept me young but had the audacity to grow up, and I've still got so much energy left!!
I have a small farm and two dogs, who currently demand more of my time than my kids! I cross-country ski and trail bike from my front door in the NEK and love to mountain bike. I teach math and science in an alternative high school - I enjoy the challenge of the job, and I also don't mind the long holidays and summers off; I take advantage of those to travel as much as possible and, in the winter, ski patrol. What else? I'm a reader, mostly fiction and longform journalism. I do squint at the news most days because I feel some sort of personal responsibility to bear witness but man oh man... I think I have most of my sh!t together, and I hope you do, too. Still working on taking myself less seriously. Pictures are from the last year. People always tell me I'm... enthusiastic, passionate and curious What is the one thing that you love that everybody else hates? I definitely do not complain when it snows!! It's karaoke night and I'm singing... actually, we do karaoke at my high school often and I need some suggestions that will make teenagers cringe!! I would describe my fashion sense as... well, most days you could probably put your hand over my eyes and I wouldn't be able to tell you what I was wearing. My wardrobe is mostly clothes my sons have grown out of but I have a range in the closet that can take me all the way to black tie, which I've needed exactly zero times in Vermont! Fill ItOn a Saturday night you will most likely find me resting my joints from whatever I did during the day and probably laundry. I consider myself an open-minded person, but my deal breakers are negativity and meanness I couldn't live without my sons. Everything else is negotiable. The first section I turn to in Seven Days is the Calendar The quickest way to my heart is being nice and funny. The quickest way to my bed is being nice and energetic. And in the morning, I like my eggs cooked by someone else. My ideal partner would be in the 35 to 58 age range.
