Still loving, laughing and learning.
68 years old and still haven’t lost my joie de vivre nor my sense of humor! I’m enjoying retirement (after 40 years of work in the Human Services field) and savoring the benefits, the greatest of which is time to do the things I love most. These include biking, hiking (nothing too aggressive these days), gardening, lunch with friends and volunteer work. Getting older isn’t always easy but has actually made me more grateful for the good in my life and less likely to “sweat the small stuff”! I’m troubled by so many things happening in the world right now but I refuse to become cynical. I’m looking for friendship only for now. I have a number of women friends but would also enjoy occasional male company and friendship. Let’s take a walk or bike ride or get together over a cup of coffee.
