Charmingly active woman, looking to share my life and experiences with an intelligent, romantic and genuine man. I'd love for you to join me for dancing, skiing, cooking, writing poems, and exploring open-heartedness.
I'm a retired midwife, now working 2 days a week as a nurse practitioner, because I love it and it is one of the things that gives my life meaning. I follow the news closely; am definitely a leftie and an old activist. I'm also a potter, and show my wares at local farmer's markets and craft fairs. In my spare time you will find me hiking in the summer, skiing out my back door in the winter, going to the gym when the weather permits nothing else.
I have two beloved children, one living nearby and the other recently moved to Arizona (sob!). We are all close in our hearts.
I love to travel to Europe and have done several extended hiking and biking trips there.
My friends describe me as smart, independent, young for my years, cool, passionate and compassionate, a good listener (direct quotes!). I prize my friends immensely and they have gotten me through some tough times.
