Seven Days Personals - Introducing: Vermonters

The question posed here in the directions is: "just how delightful are you?" ... and then it says (in capital letters!): HONESTLY.
Honestly, some days I'm pretty darn delightful; and some days, less so. These are challenging times. Muddling along ...just doing my best to make my little bit of the world a friendlier, nicer place.
Honestly, I'm a pretty engaged, adventurous, interesting woman. I've got lots of stories - some people would say too many (I enjoy conversation).
Vermont is the first place I've ever wanted to call home - not saying it's perfect but it has a hold on my heart. I love being in the woods - it's my church. Plants and trees and flowers make me happy. I love planting things and watching them grow and bloom. Simple pleasures and natural beauty - both outdoors and in my home - are what keep me going. Every day I give thanks for living in a beautiful corner of the world.
So much more - heck, you can't live to this age and not have a lot of layers. Getting to know another at this age is both fascinating, and oftentimes difficult - as we each have a lot of history. It's a dance. Guess I'm looking for a nice man who would like to engage in that dance. Or, just someone fun who'd like to hang out sometimes, share spontaneous adventures occasionally, do fun or even silly things together sometimes. I enjoy my own company and am not afraid to adventure sola but somethings are just better shared. Going bowling alone or to the drive-in alone would just plain be weird. And I'm trying to improve my cribbage game - hard to do by myself. Sharing the ride to/from a music event or an art outing would be more enjoyable. I'm not looking to be someone's other half. That's never been a role that has fit me. But the company of another 'whole' person - one who is engaged in life, appreciative of small joys and pleasures. That would be nice. If he were bearded with a sweet smile and a kind heart... all the better.

I don't mind sharing photos of myself with someone who I'm in a conversation with. I'm just not comfortable posting publicly. Vermont is a small town - and I'm a fairly private person.
