There And Back Again
I thought retiring in Florida was a good idea. I like the beach. Have a bunch of family there. It didn’t work. The heat is unbearable. I-95 is a disaster. 1.3 million new best friends. And my political views? “I am the last of my kind.” A moderate Democrat, which is too liberal for Florida.
Fortunately, I was reminded that Vermont is where my friends are and where I belong. So I am buying a condo and moving back….alone. I like a casual bike ride, a hike(historically I tended to wander of the trail), paddling in my kayak, snorkeling, discussing a myriad of topics. I miss strong coffee.
