I think I'm your classic girl-next-door type. I was widowed last year and am just now emerging back into life as a single person hoping to meet a partner for the next chapter. I am loyal, caring, trustworthy, smart, funloving, and funny (I think!) I hope to meet someone charming, witty, emotionally articulate, kind, and communicative. Tall dark and handsome doesn't hurt either, but I am open-minded. I have learned the hard way that life is short and what matters most are our connections to other people. I could move through the world on my own for my remaining years, but I'd much prefer having a playmate and a partner.

Three things that I want from my ideal mate are... ...outstanding character, excellent communication, and total devotion. Not too much to ask, right?

People always tell me I'm... strong and brave. That's true, but it would sure be nice to have someone to lean on sometimes.

It's karaoke night and I'm singing... ...alone in my car, probably...my fondest wish would be to be a singer but I just don't have the talent, so I stay off the stage.
