Curious. Playful. Tender.
Looking for someone who can survive direct, honest but kind and respectful communication, dark humour, the occasional unsolicited fact about cold cases, animals, or why I’ve fallen into a research rabbit hole and may not return until Tuesday.
I’m an animal lover, cello novice, true crime cold case detective, lover of winter, and believer in science, intuition, and the possibility that some things are just plain woo. My house includes five cats, an opinionated parrot, a bunny, a dog, and a level of pet glitter that has frankly stopped asking for permission. I’m not looking to sprint into romance. I’m looking for companionship, mutual curiosity, and something more if the connection earns its way there. I like kind, steady people who can communicate and repair like adults, and still be their own brand of quirky and interesting. I’m a homebody with bursts of outdoorsy-ness, but I need decompression time because my work is mentally taxing. I’m not looking for someone to judge that or a more home-body lifestyle. I like the outdoors, but I am not looking to prove my worth through constant activity. No smoking (anything), no drugs, infrequent social drinking only. Bonus points if you have healthy side gigs of your own and a strong friendship-family base.
