Seven Days Personals - Introducing: Vermonters

Field notes from a life well-traveled:

I've spent many years living and working in East Africa — experience that taught me how to listen closely and always question my assumptions. Now, having traded the savanna for the forests of Vermont, I spend my days walking, biking, swimming in summer, and adapting to four real seasons.
I've called a lot of places home, and I still love wandering somewhere new when I can — as off the beaten path as possible. Perpetually curious, I enjoy intense conversations as much as a good laugh, and I'm always up for a challenge.


I have a great circle of friends scattered around the globe, and a cat, dog, and horse to whom I'm devoted. I read a lot and have a serious addiction to Nordic Noir.


I'm looking for someone who finds the natural world endlessly interesting — not just scenic — and who isn't afraid of a woman who's spent most of her life asking "why do people do that?" for a living.
