Today, around 4:30/5pm, I saw you running on the Burlington bike path near Texaco Beach. Your smile was so mesmerizing that everything else around us seemed to blur—I can only recall your pretty blonde hair and the radiant joy in your expression. Our eyes met for a brief moment, and in that instant, it felt like my world paused. Your smile brightened my entire day. You then continued your run, gracefully heading down the dirt road beside the graffiti-covered containers on the railroad tracks. Would be so lovely to know your name and share another smile. I'm blushing just remembering it.

I went to a cafe downtown on Saturday, there you were, behind the counter. This dank basement cafe had no charm, except for you. You handed me my latte with some art on it, I smiled, said thank you, you said you're welcome. It was like magic. You were making your tubby friend laugh while you expertly made coffee. You're very funny, and good at coffee. I was the nervous one who tried to ask your name but couldn't work up the courage, so I asked for sugar instead. I'm diabetic, I don't even like sugar. Wanted to ask again but I had to take some time to realign but then I had to go. Drop me a line if you see this.

I forgot to grab a basket at the front and made my way around the right side of the store past the breads. Then I saw you and forgot everything that I had came into the store to get to begin with, with a smirky smile you looked at me. Then I went down the other isle to get a basket and there you were again. Then after grabbing two things I could remember to get I went into the beer cave to cool off, when I came out again there you were again with the same smile
