Every time I cross paths with any of you on the trail and we exchange our obligatory hellos/how are yours/etc, I immediately fall in love with you and picture what our life together would be like. I generally forget about the encounter 10 minutes later, but maybe one of these days my thoughts will materialize into something more than a fleeting fantasy. You can hope, right?

You were hiking next to Lana Falls and I was in a panic about losing my dog. You helped rescue (me really) and my dog out of a risky situation. I wouldn't have made it out safety without your help. I am endlessly thankful. My adrenaline was too high I couldn't think straight. I hope maybe you see this on your way back to Boston. 4ever grateful.
